With their new kitchen extension, the owners of this gorgeous Arts and Crafts house wanted to create a blended indoor/outdoor entertaining space with bi-fold doors. The design brief stipulated that the living space should be integrated with an outside terrace and make the most of the spectacular views over the adjoining golf course.

The brief included a dining and seating area as well as a vegetable garden and an Alitex greenhouse, with elements of the garden being on different levels. Stepover apple trees were planted above the retaining wall to differentiate the vegetable garden from the main terrace and additional planting included low growing euphorbias, nepeta, geraniums and erigeron.
