We offer a range of design services that can be tailored to your needs. Whether you are looking for inspiration and advice, a revamp of your existing planting or a complete transformation of your garden, we are here to help and advise you on the services you may need and to guide you through the design and build process.

Our Process
Consultation
The first step towards your new garden starts with an initial consultation. There is no charge for this meeting. It provides an opportunity to discuss your requirements: colour schemes, styles, taste and budget. The consultation enables us to provide you with a detailed design proposal which includes a written client brief for the design of your new garden and sets out the scope of the project.

Site Survey & Analysis
The first stage of any garden design is the site survey. This is carried out to establish the exact boundaries of the site and the levels and dimensions of your garden. A site analysis is also undertaken to record the aspect and access to any views, soil conditions, drainage, existing features and any other considerations that may affect the final design

Concept Design
The information gathered during both the initial consultation and the site survey is used to create the concept plan which shows ideas for the design through mood boards and a power point presentation. This provides the client with an idea of how their new garden will look and the opportunity to discuss any final requirements before the master plan is produced.

Master Plan & Specification
The master plan includes precise dimensions, levels and construction details to enable the garden to be created according to the design brief. Bespoke items such as pergolas, water features, seating etc are detailed in construction drawings along with preparation of accurate setting out documents. A technical specification is drawn up to include standards of workmanship and sourcing of materials. These documents form the package which enable landscape contractors to submit detailed costings for the work

Planting Plans
Planting plans are produced to complement the design. Plants are selected to create the style that you require and which are appropriate to the ground conditions in your garden. A power point presentation is produced comprising photographs showing the colour, height and flowering times of each plant, together with a planting schedule detailing the botanical names, number and sizes of plants. Plants are sourced from specialist nurseries then set out and planted to bring the design to life.

Tendering & Project Monitoring
Tender documents, which are needed to obtain quotes for your project, are prepared to help you to shortlist contractors to ensure the most appropriate/qualified landscapers are selected for the project and to provide a fair price comparison between bidders.
If the client wishes, project monitoring can be provided to ensure the build is finished to the expected high standard, within an agreed time scale and the agreed budget.

Gardening Maintenance & Aftercare
Not every garden owner is a knowledgeable gardener and the prospect of being left in charge of a new garden can be daunting.
We provide an aftercare service tailored to your needs including: appointing a maintenance team to work with you or your gardener; providing bespoke maintenance schedules setting out what needs to be on a monthly basis; keeping in touch to offer detailed reviews on a quarterly-yearly basis to ensure your garden is beautifully maintained and updated.
